Heritage Colors
Forever in Color
Fun, vibrant, and bold — that’s how Kohler throws back.
In honor of Kohler’s 150th anniversary, Heritage Color campaign invited every color enthusiast to the celebration of the iconic colors of Kohler’s history.
This digital first campaign invited everyone to vote for their favorite Kohler color, so the company can bring them back to the white and sterile bathroom world.
The Heritage Color was launched in the concept of “Forever in Color,” revamping one of the brand’s iconic marks, “The Bold Look Girl” from the old advertisements. The Bold Look Girl was re-birthed in the 6 Heritage Colors, commencing the launch of Heritage Color collection.
Heritage colors meant nostalgia and vintage, which resonated to multiple generations.
The campaign kicked off by re-introducing the history of the following colors:
• Lavender
• Peachblow
• Pink Champagne
• Sunrise
• Spring Green
• Avocado
Then, people got excited, seeing how color makes a difference, and being able to make it possible to see these colors in their own spaces.
The campaign resulted in +100k votes.
The social reel topped all of Kohler’s organic posts. Then the hype continued, in the streets of Manhattan. The campaign wild posters and IRL activation with Daniel Arsham, and KidSuper created some more heat around the colorful excitement in the subzero NYC weather, sharing lattes and chocolates and proving this throwback campaign could reach the extended audience.

The Limited Edition:
The two winning colors of the campaign, brought to life by the touch of the visionary.
With the two winning colors, the campaign invited designers Justina Blakeney and Jonathan Adler to share with us, how to bring colors to our homes, and that it can make a big impact to any space, even a little pocket of your space.
