Milan Design Week
with Kohler and Flamingo Estate

Rituals, rooted in nature.

Kohler and Flamingo Estate brought a botanical installation in the heart of Milan during the Milan Design Week 2026. Re-creating the original bathhouse in LA with a richer material story, The Flamingo Estate Bathhouse by Kohler recalls the meaning of Kohler’s origin, and the symbolic relationship of human craft and the natural environment.

As the creative lead, I brought this magical experience to life for the global market under the campaign theme, "Return to the source. Discover a deeper nature."

My role spanned conceptual development, art direction for the physical exhibition, and the execution of digital and print assets across global paid and owned channels.

Preshow // Building buzz for the week.

The campaign story launched with a series of striking key visuals depicting the serene copper-shroud bath and hand-poured Pollinator Baths inside a surreal botanical garden. In collaboration with the renowned Spanish digital artist Six N. Five, I directed the full production of these 3D-rendered worlds, and the final assets were deployed globally across major print and digital publications like The New York Times.

Show Week // Mark making experience.

With the campaign strategy centered on digital reach, I led the real-time storytelling of the live exhibition to reach our broader global audience on social media. Directing both the local production crew and our in-house team in Milan, and collaborating closely with partners like Martha Stewart and Douglas Friedman, I successfully executed a seamless, consecutive 7-day cross-platform social media campaign throughout the week.

Beyond the screen.

A quick scroll sometimes misses the magic. The Pollinator Baths are the epitome of Kohler’s heritage and future, that shouldn’t be lost in a glance. I created a dedicated micro-story documenting the entire process—from the craftsmanship at the Kohler Foundry to the initial design inspiration—ensuring the beauty of how these pieces came to life was preserved in a print booklet beyond the digital feed.
